Mckenna Regier
B.Sc., CSCS(c)
Strength & Conditioning Specialist
Mckenna is a strength and conditioning coach with a passion for helping athletes build strength, improve performance, and develop confidence in their movement. Growing up in White Rock, she values giving back to the same community that shaped her athletic journey.
With over 18 years of competitive softball experience, Mckenna played for local teams including the White Rock Renegades and Richmond Islanders before being scouted to play for the University of Calgary Dinos. In addition to softball, she trained and competed in Irish dance for 13 years, culminating in competing at the World Championships in 2022. She also spent years playing soccer with Coastal FC, giving her a well-rounded background in sport and athletic development.
These experiences shape Mckenna’s approach to coaching, with a strong emphasis on long-term athletic development, proper movement mechanics, and building resilient, well-rounded athletes. She is particularly passionate about working with youth athletes, helping them develop strong foundations that support both performance and injury prevention, while also building confidence in and out of sport.
Mckenna holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and is currently preparing to write the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam through the NSCA. Her coaching style focuses on individualized programming, education, and creating a positive, supportive training environment. Outside of coaching, Mckenna enjoys training, staying active outdoors, and exploring her interest in genealogy, while continuing to expand her knowledge of performance and health.
