Tyler grew up in Ladner, BC, as an avid lacrosse player. After graduating high school, Tyler attended Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, West Virginia, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. Upon his return to Canada, Tyler worked as a Certified Athletic Therapist until his next endeavour, which took him to Marquette, Michigan. He obtained his Master's in Exercise Science at Northern Michigan University while working as an Athletic Therapist for the U.S.A. Greco-Roman wrestling and weightlifting teams.

Since returning to British Columbia in 2018, Tyler has been working in the South Surrey/White Rock area, helping his clients overcome injuries through manual and movement-based therapeutic interventions. Recently, Tyler has decided to continue his quest for knowledge and pursue further studies in Osteopathy.
