The Physical Development Program at Altius is a science-backed, strength and conditioning system designed for youth sport athletes. Through data-driven training protocols, guided by our expert coaches and health professionals, players build physical power, speed, and durability that elevate their game.

WHAT IS THE PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM?
The Baseball Performance Program at Altius Health & Performance is built to give youth athletes the physical foundation they need to excel on the field, court, rink or diamond.
Focused on strength and conditioning, this program develops explosive power, speed, mobility, and resilience while reducing injury risk. Guided by our integrative team of performance coaches and health professionals, each athlete trains using evidence-based methods tailored to their age and development.
More than a workout, it’s a system designed to build complete athletes, becoming stronger, faster, and more confident so they can bring their best performance to every game, season after season.
HOW IT WORKS

ASSESSMENT & BASELINE TESTING
We are all here to help you get better, and to help, we need to know where to start! Our detailed and comprehensive baseline testing includes movement assessments, along with strength, power, and speed testing, so we know how to train each player more effectively.

PROGRAM DESIGN
We pride ourselves on knowing the best practices in our profession and staying on top of the research. We meet regularly as a team to discuss the latest information in the fields of physical rehabilitation and performance so we can give each player the best plan available.

TEAM TRAINING & TRACKING
You can manage what you can't measure! To ensure that we know you are on the right track, we have heavily invested in the latest health and performance technology so we can get the best feedback on your each players journey.

PRACITIONER CHECK-INS
All our players will have access to our performance team through messaging services and apps that allow for continuous support outside of the facility. We feel that most of the improvement will come from that time, so to make sure you are progressing, we will be there every step of the way.

PERFORMANCE REASSESSMENTS
We will routinely reassess each player to ensure we are meeting our KPI's and creating better athletes. This allows us to shift our programming to better meet the players' needs, or let's us know we are on the right track.
